3/2/2023 EnchantaVaughn Approved 1.Behavior: QMHP-C greeted Jahsim upon arrival to the home setting. Upon arrival to the home setting, Jahsim appeared to be in a good mood. QMHP-C engaged Jahsim in a discussion to determine how his afternoon was going thus far. Mother engaged QMHP-C in a discussion as it relates to her having issues with Jahsim not being able to control his anger. 2. Behavior: Jahsim participated in the session as he did not need any redirection from QMHP-C. At times within the session he appeared to be withdrawn evident by him wanting to engage in activities with his younger sibling being as though he was playing with his video game in the afternoon. He reports he gets angry when people do him wrong. 1.Intervention: QMHP-C acknowledged Jahsim as he was able to share his thoughts that pertain to becoming verbally aggressive. QMHP-C demonstrated verbal ques that can be identified as threatening and provoking. QMHP-C asked Jahsim to share his thoughts about the exercise. Jahsim was then asked to mirror QMHP-C’s demonstration in order to gain insight of how to avoid provoking or threatening behaviors. 2. Intervention: QMHP-C listened as the Jahsim shared his thoughts. Jahsim was presented a work sheet that can assist him with learning about himself as an individual. QMHP-C instructed the Jahsim to complete the work sheet and to share his thoughts about the exercise. 1. Response: Jahsim was receptive of the session as evident of his participation with identifying the verbal ques in communication of peers and family members whom display provoking behaviors towards him. He appeared to have an understanding of how to utilize appropriate verbalizations to avoid anger outbursts in the home and community. Response: He stated that he has difficulty ignoring his peers or provoking behaviors. Jahsim was able to complete the work sheet and provided input on its effectiveness to helping gain insight of how he can control his anger towards his siblings and others in the community.
